per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job
Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a
Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a UT or compact RN
license, BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
/n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit
within an acute care hospital setting - Cares for labor, delivery,
and postpartum patients with approximately 120-130 births per year
- Unit includes 3 L&D beds and postpartum care is provided in
patient rooms with 2 overflow rooms - Night shifts from 6pm to 6am,
12 hours in length - Float to MedSurg may be required - Uses Athena
EMR and PeriCalm fetal monitoring system - Shared CNA support
between Med/Surg and L&D - Provide comprehensive nursing care
throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases - Collaborate
with family practice providers, as there are no in-house
OB/Neonatologist or 24/7 RT - On-call pharmacy services are
available - Scrubs may be any solid color /n /n Requirements/n -
Active UT or compact state RN license required - Minimum 2 years of
recent L&D experience - Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate
Fetal Monitoring certifications required - Experience with Athena
EMR and PeriCalm system preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and
