This travel opportunity offers the chance to work in a modern 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region, encompassing medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and specialized services including a childbirth center, cancer center, and behavioral health unit. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients transitioning from ICU or those requiring close monitoring. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in condition. - Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards. Desired Qualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit. - Proven ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and critical thinking skills. - Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred. - Flexibility and willingness to travel and adapt to new healthcare settings.
