Pillar Innovations is currently on the lookout for a Tower Service Technician to join our Farmington, NM team. The Tower Service Technician will be responsible for climbing communications towers at heights of 300'+ for the purpose of installing, repairing, constructing, and maintaining various communication systems. The Tower Service Technician will work on various tasks and projects with non-carriers and carriers, that may include but not be limited to: Line and Antenna Installation, Microwave and Dish Installs, Trouble Shooting, Tower Inspections, Tower Maintenance, etc. This position requires individuals to maintain rigid safety standards, while performing quality work in a fast-paced environment.Perks and Benefits: Competitive wages with Per-Diem rates above industry standardsCompany supplied Tools & Safety EquipmentQuarterly PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) AllowanceMedical, Dental, Vision PlansCompany paid Basic Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability - with buy-up options401-K with company matchPaid holidays and Paid Time Off and more!Responsibilities Maintain safety and quality guidelines Safely and efficiently complete repairs and upgrades at elevated heights Follow instructions to accomplish assigned work in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain proper use of company vehicles, credit cards and other assigned assetsRead customer blueprints and execute scope of work per the customer's specificationsExpansion and upgrades to established major cellular carrier networks, new installs, turn-key, microwave, LMRPre-Work and Post-Work site auditsSite upgrades and Capacity expansionOther duties as assigned Qualifications(Preferred) Valid driver's license required 1+ year tower climbing experience for Tech II consideration OR less than 1 year for Tech I considerationCurrent authorized tower climber or competent climber and rescue certification Ability to work at heights upwards of 300' +Experience installing and maintaining: cabling, antennas, microwave dishes, tower builds (NEW/MODS), site inspections, FAA lighting systems, cell carriers (Sprint, T-MOB, Verizon, USCC, Etc.) Knowledge of and ability to operate test equipment (i.e. RF sweep gear, PIM and fiber testing) Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAble to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule Willingness to undergo a background and drug screening is required More About Us: Founded in 2007, Pillar Innovations was derived from its parent company, Beitzel Corporation.
