JOB POSITION #101: SEASONAL PARKS MAINTENANCE
WORKER PARKS OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs
LOCATION: 901 Fairgrounds Road
RANGE: $10.50 per hour
POSITION: Seasonal, Full-Time
Varied to Include Weekends
APPLICATIONS WILL BE RECEIVED UNTIL:
Under direction of a Parks Superintendent, Assistant Parks
Superintendent, Parks Foreman, or Parks Worker I, II, III, or IV,
performs assigned tasks involved with the care and maintenance of
public grounds and parks, including park facilities.
Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains
effective working relationships with other employees, officials,
and all members of the general public.
Performs construction and ball field duties such as shoveling and
digging in very dusty conditions; lifts bricks and often performs
work on hands and knees.
Performs litter control tasks including picking up full trash bags
and loading them onto the truck.
Cleans and repairs park shelters, picnic tables, grills, sand
areas, and playgrounds.
Cleans rest rooms and using cleaning supplies as
