Performs routine public contact and safety work in serving as a

Works under the supervision of the Assistant Aquatics Manager
and Lifeguard Shift Supervisor.
Performs CPR, first aid and water rescues on active or passive

Extensive background checks required.
Must have current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional
Rescuer certification, and American Red Cross Lifeguard
Must be certified in CPR/First Aid/AED or have the ability to
obtain such within the first year of employment.
Working knowledge of the equipment, facilities, operations and
techniques used in a comprehensive aquatics program.
Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with other employees, supervisors, participants,
instructors, and the general public.
Ability to communicate effectively orally; ability to give and
understand oral instructions.
