our RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation Team:
This role is responsible for integrating all aspects of the digital
sourcing functions into Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and
Transformation initiatives through collaborating and partnering
with suppliers, ES leaders, and functional service owners. A key
component of the role is to develop supplier capabilities,
partnerships and category strategies for enterprise collaboration
tools and services. The ideal candidate will draw from past
experience with various software, hardware and labor suppliers and
can assist with translating this knowledge via contract
negotiations and project management skills to lead the
coordination, communication and integration of suppliers to support
the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives.
This individual will have an understanding of supplier
products/services and develop various strategies to drive year on
year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line. An
understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from contract
negotiations to requisition and PO placement is needed for this
role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication
and presentation skills, with ability to develop effective
presentations and present to leadership and peers. What You Will
Do: Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Drives contract requirements and negotiations, primarily for
software and labor suppliers related to end user environment with a
concentration on Microsoft. Assess and onboard new suppliers as
needed Aligns with Digital IT stakeholders on vendor consolidation
activities to drive contract savings Develops, manages, and
partners with stakeholders on an integrated master schedule of
engagements, renewals, RFXs, etc. Facilitate supplier performance
reviews, benchmarks & reporting Reviews Statements of Work (SOW)
documents and ensures sourcing best practices are followed Analyze
pricing and negotiating complex technology agreements Build strong
partnerships across various stakeholders (legal, finance, etc.)
Develop strong supplier relationships to drive effectiveness and
value Supports the investigation, negotiation and favorable
resolution of disputes with suppliers Ability to manage multiple
priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability
to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and
effectively Develop executive level analysis & presentations Work
with Stakeholders on benchmarking industry trends and changes, as
requested. Partner with key stakeholders on strategic vendor
meetings and strategies. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically
requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant
experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7
years Extensive experience in sourcing roles, including creating
sourcing roadmaps, category strategies, licensing/asset management,
risk management, and requirement change management. Expert
knowledge of Microsoft products, cloud solutions, and product
roadmaps, coupled with strong negotiation and contract drafting
skills for various agreement types. Proven ability to develop
supplier strategies for software contracts, manage licensing,
maintenance, and support, and collaborate with stakeholders to
balance supplier needs, customer experience, and affordability.
Strong business acumen with expertise in financial analysis,
strategy development, and hands-on experience with sourcing tools
like Ariba (or similar) for procurement and contract management.
Qualifications We Prefer: Candidates for this role should possess a
Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA preferred Minimum of 10 years
Consulting, Sourcing and Procurement Management with at least 3
years in Digital IT preferred Strong project management skills and
ability to convert requirements into executable strategies, and
ability to develop and manage an integrated master schedule (PMP® a
plus) Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all
levels of management and individual contributors Ability to develop
effective presentations and documents used for leadership reviews

132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
