Job Description As a Team Lead - Senior Clinical Informaticist, you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical department and IT, leveraging both clinical knowledge and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement of clinical services through the use of technology and Cerner best practices as well as assist with protocols, procedures, and quality metrics to support the implementation of new technologies, integration with devices, and the EMR. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating teams to enhance current solutions and implement new solutions, conduct statistical analysis, and participate in clinical councils for the purpose of building clinical informatics systems, workflow analysis, and evidence-based content. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Clinical Degree Licensed registered nurse At least 2 years Clinical Informatics work experience At least 2 years licensed clinical or health care work experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Information Technology, or Nursing At least 1 year of people management work experience At least 2 years of Cerner Millennium experience Expectations Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations and cover on-call rotations Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position Perform other responsibilities as assigned Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Farmington, NM area Cerner is a place where people are encouraged to innovate with confidence and focus on what is important - people's health and the care they receive.
