Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Gallup, NM Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $36 to $40 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Assist Occupational Therapists in providing treatment to patients to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence. Key Responsibilities: Implement therapy plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic activities and exercises Help patients improve daily living and functional skills Monitor progress and report updates to the Occupational Therapist Assist with the use of adaptive equipment and techniques Maintain accurate documentation of patient care Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions Educate patients on home exercise programs Requirements Requirements: Associate degree from an accredited COTA program Valid COTA certification/license BLS/CPR certification (preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills
