Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Med/surg experience preferred Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical telemetry. The facility includes state-of-the-art operating suites and provides healthcare services to a diverse region. Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and specialized care units. This role will involve working with a patient population that includes adults aged 18 years and older. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and coordination of care. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required. Oncology skills may be beneficial but are not necessary. Common diagnoses treated include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure. Education required is an Associate Degree in Nursing.
