Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Farmington, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IMC or Cardiology License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Cardiology or Intermediate Care is required. Description: This role is for an RN specializing in Cardiology and Intermediate Care. The facility provides healthcare services to a diverse patient population. It features modern operating suites and offers medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. The unit includes options for various patient care scenarios such as trauma, nephrology, and more. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients with active titrating drips and managing care effectively. Registered Nurses will float between units as needed to meet patient care demands. Patient ratios on shifts are established to ensure quality care, with specific expectations for IMC and Med/Surg patients. Familiarity with cardiology monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and electronic health records is essential. The patient population primarily includes adult to geriatric individuals, addressing a range of medical conditions. Nursing education requirements include an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
