Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Farmington, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Post-operative patient care including orthopedic, neurosurgical, and abdominal surgeries. Management of NG tubes, chest tubes, foley catheters, and turps. Care for respiratory issues, diabetic patients, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, rib fractures, altered mental status, and pain management. Description: This is a healthcare position focused on providing care to adult patients in a surgical inpatient unit. The facility is a level III trauma center with a broad range of services including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation. It features various state-of-the-art operating suites and emergency services to treat trauma cases. The patient population includes adults ranging in age from 18 to 100 years old. Nurse-to-patient ratios are a maximum of 1:6 with the possibility of turnover throughout the shift due to patient admits and discharges. Preferred skills include excellent customer service and patient experience abilities. Common diagnoses and treatments in the unit include a mixture of medical and surgical patients. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner. Strong teamwork and adherence to policies and guidelines are essential for success in this role.
