Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and current UT or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an acute care setting on a Labor & Delivery unit - L&D unit includes 3 delivery beds and postpartum rooms with overflow capacity - Average annual births: 120-130 - Patient charting is done using the Athena EMR system - Uses PeriCalm fetal monitoring system - Night shifts, 12 hours each from 6pm to 6am - Floating to MedSurg unit may be required - CNA support is shared with Med/Surg and L&D - Pharmacy support is on-call and CRNA support is available as needed - Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients - No in-house OB or neonatologist; managed by family practice providers - Scrubs in any solid color are acceptable - May assist and support MedSurg team as needed /n /n Requirements/n - Active UT or compact state RN license required - Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required - Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience - Experience with PeriCalm fetal monitoring system preferred - EMR experience with Athena is preferred - No BSN required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-640733.
