DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a travel nursing job in Shiprock, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse. Contract Location Northern Navajo Medical Center Shiprock, NM Pay $34 per hour $51 overtime $1,246 per week per diem $500 travel allowance $2,606 gross per week for 40 hours Weekly pay Job Type Full time Contract Outpatient clinic Period of Performance 02/09/2026 through 08/08/2028 Long term assignment with option extensions Schedule Day shift 8 or 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday Weekends and holidays as assigned Duties • Triage and assess patients in outpatient clinics • Obtain vital signs and perform focused assessments • Administer medications, injections, and immunizations • Assist providers with minor procedures • Provide patient education and discharge instructions • Coordinate labs, imaging, and referrals • Document all care in the electronic health record • Follow infection control and safety standards • Support chronic disease management and preventive care Requirements • Active RN license in any US state • BLS required, ACLS preferred • One year recent outpatient or acute care experience • Experience with EHR systems • Ability to pass federal background check and credentialing • IHS or tribal health experience preferred Apply Submit resume, license, and certifications for review.
