Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.
This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center equipped with
state-of-the-art operating suites. The hospital provides healthcare
services to a diverse region, including medical, surgical, and
rehabilitation care. Additional services include a childbirth
center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient
behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging
and lab testing services. Recognized for its quality of care and
beautiful surroundings, this facility features three rivers, four
golf courses, five lakes, and six national parks for recreational
opportunities. The department consists of 48 beds with a
patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1 in the main emergency department and
6:1 in fast track. Equipment available includes Zoll
Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmers,
and ultrasound-guided IV devices. The electronic health record
system in use is Cerner. The patient population includes adult and
geriatric patients with conditions such as end-stage renal disease,
cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and psychiatric
disorders. Team nursing and a pod system are utilized, with social
workers and unit educators assigned to the department. This
position does not require call duties. Minimum weekend hours
include two weekends per schedule. Qualified candidates will
possess the required certifications and have a strong background in
emergency nursing. Common diagnoses treated include end-stage renal
disease, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders,
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure,
