Job Description The Nurse Tech provides compassionate, direct patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, supporting optimal patient management. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, with successful completion of 1st and 2nd semesters, verified by documentation, and current BLS certification. Preferred: Plans to seek RN employment after program completion. Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities, take vital signs and report abnormalities, communicate with team, follow policies, build relationships, demonstrate teamwork, and perform additional tasks under RN supervision. Physical demands include ability to see, hear, lift over 50 lbs, and work in potentially hazardous environments with exposure to bodily fluids. Special demands involve managing challenging patient interactions to maintain a safe, respectful environment and coping with the stresses of caring for acutely ill patients.
