Calling All Pediatricians ! Bring Your Care to the Heart of the Southwest - Two Contract Opportunities in Gallup, New Mexico

What's This Opportunity? This tribal site is seeking two talented, mission-driven pediatricians to join the care team as independent contractors to provide full-time outpatient pediatric care. We re in the proposal stage and gathering interest from qualified providers who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Native children and families. What You'll Be Doing

• Providing compassionate care in outpatient pediatrics and Level 2 nursery.
• Consulting with Emergency, OB/GYN, Surgery, and other teams as needed.
• Handling a range of acute, chronic, and well-child cases.
• Participating in peer review and continuous improvement efforts.
• Helping build strong, trusting relationships with families and local communities. Schedule & Lifestyle Details
  • Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week (full-time contract)
  • Duration: Initial terms run in 6-months, starting ASAP
  • On-Call: You ll participate in shared pediatric call, including evenings or weekends on a rotating basis (not 24/7 solo coverage!) - TBD
  • Flexibility: Schedules are coordinated with the Chief of Pediatrics for balance and coverage Must-Haves
    • ANY active Medical license (unrestricted) in any U.S. state or territory
    • Completed ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible (with letter of eligibility) in Pediatrics
    • BLS and PALS certification
    • At least 3 years of pediatric experience (residency counts!)
    • Readiness to work under a federal contract including background check and immunization compliance
    • Comfort working in a culturally diverse, often bilingual setting About the facility
