Description: Are you an experienced and passionate pharmacist?
We are excited to invite you to join our wonderful healthcare team
at Tohatchi Health Center in Tohatchi, NM! In this important role,
you'll help ensure our patients use medications safely and
effectively, making a real difference in their lives. This is a
Long Term Contract Role, up to 6 months with extension

and no holidays-more time for you!**Who We're Looking For**: - A
graduate from an accredited pharmacy program/school. - A licensed
pharmacist in the United States (this is a must!). - If you've had
previous contract experience or worked in an IHS facility, that's a
bonus!- We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of
experience. - You will be able to work under any state license. -
US Citizenship and residing primarily in the United States is

way.**Your Role**: - Review and interpret physician orders to
ensure our patients get the right medication therapy.- Dispense
medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients.-
Conduct patient assessments to ensure medications are safe and
effective.- Help manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals,
ensuring everything is stored and handled properly.- Offer
consultations on pain management and other medication-related
concerns.- Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy
software systems.- Use aseptic techniques when preparing sterile
medications.- Collaborate with our compassionate healthcare teams
in hospital settings, including pediatrics, to provide the best
patient care possible.**What You'll Bring**: - A strong background
in clinical pharmacy practices.- Proficiency in pharmacy software
for managing medications and documenting care.- Knowledge of pain
management protocols and patient assessments.- Familiarity with
inventory management to ensure we always have what we need.-
Understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceutical
care.- Experience in a hospital setting, especially with
pediatrics, is a big plus.- Friendly and effective communication
skills to connect with patients and colleagues.**Additional
Responsibilities**: We may add more duties to this role as needed,
but you'll have the support of your team every step of the way.
