Job Description:

We are seeking a new Optometrist to join our team. We currently have 3 optometrists that would work in conjunction with a new OD. We have a large practice with 7 exam rooms located within an EyeMart. We have approximately 3000 square feet and have a patient base of about 100,000. SkyView EyeCare draws from about 150 miles away and is consistently growing and getting busier. We have both a diverse staff and patient population (Hispanic, Caucasian and Native American). We have a very modern practice with around 20 staff members. The techs perform all pretesting including VA's, IOP's with most patients getting a screening optomap (we have 2). The tech's also do the OCT's, VF's, corneal topography for all P/E's. We have exam writer for our electronic medical records as well as Forum through Zeiss to assist in glaucoma Dx and Tx. Our well trained staff also significantly assists with contact lens fits. Additionally we have a Lipiflow, Lipiscan, Bleph X and other instruments for our dry eye patients. We have a massive trial contact lens inventory of soft lenses as well as RGP's, sclerals and SnergEyes trials. We are always busy and operate a highly efficient practice. SkyView EyeCare OD's have an excellent working relationship with specialty ophthalmology in the 4 corners region. Retinal specialists in the area are at the forefront of AMD treatment and current studies in the country. As a member of the Optometry department, you will work with Other OD's, well trained large staff and report to our Owner. What You Will Do: Test patient vision. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment. Develop medical treatment plans. Fit contact lenses Prescribe medications. Build and maintain relationships with clients and key personnel within our client companies. Salary range for this position is $144,000- $168,000K per year (plus bonus/commission-most recent 80K).
