      • High school diploma or GED
        • Mature, courteous deportment
          • Legible printing
            • Clear speaking voice; multi-language ability desirable
              • Typing/computer skills
                • 6 months of nursing assistant experience or certification required.Duties and Responsibilities :
                  • Provides assistance with the activities of daily living for all patients on the unit.
                    • Performs vital signs.
                      • Communicates pertinent information to members of the patient care team.
                        • Must be able to perform accurately and quickly in a busy, stressful environment, setting priorities as to duties.
                          • Deals with the emotional stress of caring for dying and chronically ill patients.
                            • Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work.Safety Courtesy Effectiveness Stewardship
                              • Other duties as assignedPhysical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions :
                                • Accepts the risk of job-related illness and injury which may cause long-term health problems.
                                  • Must be able to lift greater than 50 pounds and push 0-300 pounds using approved hospital transport devices..
                                    • Activities may include intermittent or prolonged; standing, walking, sitting.
