Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth
services is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Zuni, NM. This
role focuses on delivering specialized support and instruction to
students with diverse learning needs through virtual platforms.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential, with
qualifications as a Sign Language Interpreter highly desired to
facilitate effective communication. Key Responsibilities: - Provide
special education instruction via telehealth to K-12 students. -
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
tailored to each student's needs. - Use American Sign Language to
support communication and access to curriculum. - Collaborate with
educators, families, and speech/language therapists to enhance
student outcomes. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of
student progress. - Adhere to all educational and legal standards
regarding special education. Qualifications: - Certification or
licensure in special education teaching. - Demonstrated experience
with telehealth teaching methods. - Fluent in American Sign
Language; credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter preferred. -
Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to engage
students across a wide range of abilities and developmental stages.
